Overview

The NUVORA 3D Orbital Massage Chair with Reclining Ottoman uses orbital technology to deliver a smooth, gliding massage free from the pinching and friction of typical massage chairs, reaching every contour of the body. Stretch, flex, tone and glide techniques simulate the hands of a trained massage professional.

Dual motors recline the back and operate the legrest independently, so you are not locked into one shape, and five programmes cover full, upper, lower, relax and sleep with separate intensity for shoulders and lower back. A body diagram on the remote lets you press exactly where the ache is.

Warm air technology adds relief for muscle tension, and the foot and calf massager rotates away so the unit doubles as a comfortable ottoman. Upholstered in soft synthetic leather, in Black, Espresso or Bone.

Hands, not machinery

Hands, not machinery

Stretch, flex, tone and glide techniques follow the contours of the body in a smooth orbital path. It reaches every curve without the pinching and friction typical massage chairs produce, which is what makes a long session comfortable.

Press where it hurts

Press where it hurts

The remote carries a diagram of the body. Press the part that aches and the massage goes there. Intensity for the shoulders and the lower back is set separately, because they rarely want the same thing.

Frequently asked questions

Why does orbital feel different?

The rollers glide in a circular path along the contours of the body rather than being dragged up a fixed track. There is no pinching and no friction, so the massage stays comfortable through a long programme instead of getting sharper as you go.

What are the five programmes?

Full, upper, lower, relax and sleep. Upper and lower are the ones people use most, because they let you spend the whole session on the half of the back that actually needs it rather than splitting the time evenly.

How do the dual motors help?

One motor reclines the back and another runs the legrest, so the two move independently. You can sit fairly upright with your legs raised, or lie back with the legrest down, rather than being locked into one fixed shape.

How much space does it need?

Upright it is 44 inches long, 28 wide and 35 high; reclined it stretches to 66 inches long and drops to 29 high. Allow 9 inches of clearance behind. Plan around the reclined figure rather than the upright one.

What does the calf massage do?

It works in an upward, wave like motion along a 4 inch wide by 12 inch high area to encourage circulation. The direction matters: moving up the leg rather than down is what makes it feel like it is doing something for tired legs.
